IPOPHL Celebrates World Intellectual Property (IP) Day

The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) celebrated the World Intellectual Property Day on April 26, 2013. For this year’s celebration, the IPOPHL highlighted the importance of copyright. Thus, it organized an essay-writing and audio-visual presentation contests with the theme: “Respect Copyright”. Both contests were open to students aged 15 and above. The Awarding, dubbed as Copyright Awards Night”, was co-organized by the Korean Copyright Commission and the U.S. Embassy and was held during the World Intellectual Property Day at the IPOPHL in McKinley Hill. The winners are as follows:
