The 2023 MCLE on Intellectual Property is a 5-day advanced training program designed to provide lawyers with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complex and rapidly changing field of intellectual property and technology law. The program will cover a wide range of topics, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other forms of intellectual property. It will also delve into the legal and ethical issues arising from the introduction and use of new technologies, such as the internet, blockchain, and artificial intelligence.
The program will be taught by seasoned lawyers in the practice and subject matter experts who have a deep understanding of the legal and technical aspects of intellectual property and technology laws and their intersections. The curriculum will include lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises to help attendees gain a practical and in-depth understanding of the material.

- Obtaining and enforcing patents for software, biotech, and other high-tech innovations
- Navigating the intersection of IP and technology laws in the era of AI and Big data

The program is part of IPOPHL’s strategy toward enhancing IP education and awareness among IP specialists and law practitioners and general IP stakeholders.
