The 2024 Beyond IP Mastercourse: IP x Sustainable Development is a 5-day intermediate training program designed to explore the intersection of Intellectual Property and Sustainable Development.
The program will cover a wide range of IP topics such as patents, trademarks, copyrights, and how these can be harnessed to support the Sustainable Development Goals. It will also delve into the legal and ethical issues arising from the introduction and use of green and emerging technologies.
The program will be taught by seasoned lawyers in the practice and subject matter experts who have a deep understanding of the legal and technical aspects of intellectual property and sustainable development and their intersections. The curriculum will include lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, and hands-on exercises to help attendees gain a practical and in-depth understanding of the material.
The program is part of IPOPHL’s strategy toward enhancing IP education and awareness, not just among IP specialists and law practitioners but among general IP stakeholders.
This program is aimed at lawyers, legal professionals, and IP practitioners who are looking to expand their knowledge of intellectual property and sustainable development, as well as those who are just beginning to practice in this area.
