Everyday products marked with mother’s everyday love

May 14, 2023

With their cups brimming with tender loving care, mothers have a natural gift of knowing what’s best for their families, from small life hacks to big life-changing decisions. Hence, numerous brands associate themselves with a motherly image, often to suggest that the quality of their products have passed a mother’s discerning eye.

In celebration of Mothers’ Day this 2023, the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines listed down some homegrown, household products with registered trademarks that call to mind the common, loving names we call our dear mothers and the care, affection and strength they give through their everyday choices:

Mama Sitas

Teresita C. Reyes took advantage of the opportunity to make home cooked Filipino meals more accessible to overseas Filipino workers. She had the idea to develop a line of food mixes and sauces to make it easier for families all over the world to cook authentic Filipino food without having to scour markets for counterpart ingredients that are difficult to find outside the Philippines.

After “inspiring her daughter and son-in-law to develop products to answer this need,” the Mama Sita’s brand was created. With the trademark name officially registered in 1984, Mama Sita’s has since been many Filipinos’ go-to for a variety of condiments and ready mixes.

Mama Sita’s Holding Company, Inc. is now a leader in distributing Philippine heritage cooking products to international markets, such as the United States and the Middle East.

Registered Trademark Nos.: 33612, 523729 and others

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Century Pacific Group, Inc., CNPF is primarily engaged in the buying, selling, processing, canning, packaging and manufacturing of different kinds of food and food products.
