Connecting the Academe with Investors for IP Commercialization

Members of the Innovation and Technology Support Offices (ITSO) Network presented their technologies to potential investors during CONNECT, a networking event organized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) on 29 November 2016.  A total of 18 technologies in the field of agriculture were pitched for IP commercialization.

The participating ITSO members were: Adamson University, Bataan Peninsula State University, Bicol University, Cavite State University, Central Luzon State University, Technological University of the Philippines, University of the Philippines Diliman, and University of the Philippines Manila.

Another series of networking activities will be conducted in 2017 as part of the IPOPHL Mind-to-Market initiative which seeks to bridge the gap between IP creation and IP commercialization.
