Technology Transfer Arrangement is the process by which one party systematically transfers to another party the knowledge for the manufacture of a product, the application of a process, or rendering of a service, which may involve the transfer, assignment or licensing of intellectual property rights.

- Tax-treaty relief - Foreign companies paying taxes on royalties may apply for tax treaty relief with the Bureau of Internal Revenue; A certificate of compliance to TTA regulations is issued by IPOPHL’s Documentation, Information, Technology Transfer Bureau (DITTB), which may be presented to BIR.
ELIGIBILITY
Agreements that (1) transfer systematic knowledge, and (2) transfer, assign, or license intellectual property right are recommended to be reviewed by the Documentation, Information, and Technology Transfer Bureau of the IPOPHL.
